Provides benefits to legal immigrants who are not eligible for the federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), called Basic Food in Washington, solely because of immigration status. Households that include a person eligible for FAP receive the same amount of food benefits they would receive for this person if they were eligible for SNAP.

Classes for adults to work together to study reading, writing, and speaking in English. Classes include Talk Time (practicing English conversation), preparing for the GED (General Education Diploma), citizenship test preparation, and learning and improving basic computer skills. A two-part initiative designed to provide comprehensive support to immigrants through informational sessions and personalized legal consultations.
