In partnership with area schools, this service provides summer school programs for Migrant and Latine youth that combine bilingual academic instruction with outdoor experiences. These summer programs allow Vamos to help families that move temporarily to the area to work in agriculture by providing a space for their children to engage in meaningful activities and enjoy their temporary home while their parents are at work. Children are enrolled based on where they live and what school they attend, with priority given to participants that are multilingual and whose dominant language is Spanish.

Empowering women through outdoor recreation and education opportunities, including programs for mountain biking, sea kayaking, backpacking, road biking, rock climbing, day hiking, bikepacking, and events and workshops.

A day-use center for at-risk, runaway and homeless youth ages 24 and under. Youth can connect with supportive adults, receive basic needs items such as food, clothing and gear for sleeping outside, and connect with other resources that will help them end their experience of homelessness.

The Bellingham Public Library has partnered with the Whatcom Museum, the Spark Museum of Electrical Invention, and Mindport Exhibits to offer complimentary general admission to each museum. A Museum Pass allows free entry for up to 4 people, valid for use on the date and at the museum selected when registering. Each family is eligible for a pass for each museum every 60 days. Max Higbee Center members are paired with a Recreation Leader to receive one-on-one support to create an individualized, goal-oriented and community-based recreation experience. This service is highly flexible and allows for people to schedule sessions that are tailored and designed based on short-term and long-term goals.

Every summer, The Salvation Army helps kids of all ages go to camp at Camp Arnold at Timberlake. Summer Camp experiences are offered based upon the age of the camper. For more information about sending your child to camp, contact The Salvation Army in Bellingham.

Adaptive riding lessons are taught by PATH International certified instructors. Lesson plans take into account the participant's physical, emotional, and mental strengths and limitations. Classes include arena riding, trail rides, and group activities.
